That does seem to be an insane amount to spend on a mixer. Especially when you'll probably want all the add on goodies that take advantage of that over a horse power motor. On the other hand, my Kenwood Chef is decades old - can it really be over 50 years? Still works beautifully. I have to remind myself of that raw power in the orbital mixing blade - not something to have anywhere near little fingers and a moments distraction.

The attachments, though - again it's that raw power. Plus the quality of those attachments is A1.

For baking - no need to soften butter or anything like that - in it goes and the K beater just deals with it.

I may have paid that much (adjusted for inflation), that long ago - can't remember. I think that it has outlasted every other electrical appliance in the house...

I forget how much i hate making pizza in these.

Have the slightly older titanium xl model, and for the life of me cant get it to do pizza, dough just spins and never comes together. too much dough or hydration idk

20 minutes setting 1 (although my 1 looked faster then this 1 so set it to minimum). and dough just never comes together (edited)
