These plastic ones are fine for cleans. But because of the weight distribution and size it can dig into your forearms and be a lot more uncomfortable when doing some other exercises .
Some how the iron cast ones are more comfortable

Please don't buy a non-metal kettlebell. They're ridiculously oversized and make many manoeuvres difficult, impossible and/or dangerous. Normal kettlebells give a brilliantly balanced workout, and ridding yourself of their usefulness and diversity of moves for the sake of saving a few quid (actually wasting whatever you do spend) on a massive ball of plastic coated cement is nonsensical.

if you're going to go lower than 12kg then just buy dumbells from Lidl, for anything 12kg or heavier buy a metal kettlebell so that you can get it between your legs

I've got one of these, and the 16kg is way too big to be practical...

If you want to do something more than the very basics these are bad!

Great door stopper tbh but that is all it would be good for.

Photo 2 that is an odd way to hold it! Doesn't even look like she is gripping it, unless of course the photo was taken in zero gravity

Title needs changing as it is misleading. Implying all sizes are the same price

I have a plastic 8kg and it has been a good starter bell for me, going to see if I can get some on ebay which are metal.

As has already been mentioned the 16kg is a bit of a beast. Got one for my birthday and to do a proper swing, you have to spread your legs a bit wider than I was expecting.

Funnily enough got a kettle bell class at the local gym tonight, so will be interesting to see how a proper 16kg compares, i will post back.

nonetheless at this price, its still a good deal, just something to bear in mind!
