I have the 128GB version of this. Read speeds are good: a little over 100MB/s. The write speeds however are painfully slow. After quickly exhausting a small cache, the speed drops to around 5MB/s. It also gets quite warm whilst at that pedestrian speed.

If you buy this, know that you're buying a device that you load up overnight or in the background for potentially several hours.

If price is the number one concern, this will do the job.

If you value your time, you may want to look elsewhere are spend just a couple of £ more for a device with better write speeds.

    Thanks for your input.
What would you advice for speed?
The only promising reviews I could find are actually form the Data traveler MAX (also Kingston) - Looking for something to quickly pull from a modern smartphone. ( A cable to a Windows PC doesn't appear to be ideal for this in my experience)

Very noice…this will make it easy to image newer laptops without the need for a usb especially for Dell machines.
