btw CAS latency is 18 @ 3600MHz which is quite good and having no RGB indicates this is a no garbage toy for faking children

Did you just self trigger over RGB? Lol.

Is this brand any good? Reliable? How do they compare to equivalent corsair?

Yeah never heard of this brand in 20 years of PC hardware fiddling. Can anyone vouch for their quality?

I bought this kit, for much more, a couple of years ago. It's been absolutely solid running xmp profile with my Ryzen 3600.

If you have an AMD cpu then having ram that runs at the same speed as the infinity fabric (1:1) makes sure get all the possible performance on the table. (Is my understanding of the technology)

    This or Partiot Viper Steel Series DDR4 32GB (2 x 16GB) 3600MHz RAM??

My son's PC is a Ryzen 9 3900x, but he's also thinking of upgrading the cpu as well.

This as cas latency on the bolt is the same but £14 cheaper. it's also back in stock 6 pieces for delivery tomorrow instead of august. (edited)

3600 with cl18 for ryzen is a no no, for intel is a cracking price, as someone comented above you will oc to 3800 to be 1:1, at this point i dont think latency will go lower than 18, the sweet (expensive) spot is 3800 cl14, the difference between 18 and 14 is huge ...10ns vs 7ns....but as i said on intel doesn't matter

in the real world it would unnoticeable outside of some very niche circumstances (ryzen that is) (edited)

This vs Corsair LPX Black 3600 C16?

For Amd get the Corsair if you are finding the same price as the Bolt x as it's CL 18 - 22 - 22 - 42 @1.35V
