    No...all k'nex are like lego. You assemble it. They are made of study plastic bits. There are 1856 pieces to put together (edited)

    What a great gift for my granddaughter to drive my son round the bend. Here's hoping its as fiddly and frustrating as I think it will be.

    Thank you for this. I saw the set at Hamleys at a while ago and thought it would look great next to the Lego Big Ben. Been hoping the price would go down but didn't know if it K'Nex gets price drops the way Lego does.

    Also used student discount to get an extra £3.30 off
