Got this for £90 ish for my dad. These can be used with many public libraries to loan books for 3 weeks. Seemed to be a bit hit and miss to get the device logged in, but got it there in the end.
Make sure your library supports “overdrive” and it will be compatible, many in the UK are. I know that Birmingham Libraries do.

Thank you very much. This library support info you shared was extremely helpful. I bought one. When using smartphones, I get distracted and leave rading easily. This will help me finishing the library books I am willing to read. I think the best bet is London Libraries Consortium. They seem to have the largest database - correct me if I am wrong. All anyone needs to do get a card is to bring and ID and proof of address (even digital bank statement showing from the bank is acceptable in most libraries). Do you know if they support reading Kindle books?

Hey , Thanks for taking your time to share your first deal post with the community, I hope you found the deal submissions process a simple process. I just wanted to come by and offer any help/support you may ever need on site, if you do need me just tag me, or drop me/the team a message . A little tip too, (This is only a tip, and not a requirement, we get how busy life is and how time is valuable, Sometimes including a little description can help get your deals some more heat ).

I waited months for my alert to trigger, and then it finally did... a couple of weeks after I pulled the trigger on a Kindle

    Would have got this otherwise!
