Remember if you use electric scooters illegally on public roads the police could enhance the 5g absorption through the handlebars to increase your chances of catching covid...

I bought this from geekbuying a couple of months ago and haven't had any problems.

    Delivery took around 2 weeks.

The scooter itself is great. It is very quick on setting 3, any quicker and I think it would start to feel unsafe. At setting 3 the brakes don't feel powerful enough and it takes a while to stop using the thumb brake.
Setting 2 speed is more than adequate (22-23 kmh) and the brakes are much more effective at this speed.

I use it to commute to and from work which is a 10 mile round trip and it does this on a single charge with no problems. a full charge takes roughly 4 hours.

The full rubber tyres are fine on pavements / roads but you do get rattled around a bit on uneven surfaces like brick / cobble.

The folding mechanism is a pain in the bum. It is very stiff and you need thick soled shoes and a good bit of strength to get it to fold (or I just haven't got the knack).

One thing I will mention is that it isn't water proof. I got caught out in a rain storm and luckily had the foresight to turn the power straight off and manually scoot the rest of the way. When I got back I opened the battery compartment and a significant amount of water had pooled in the plastic clip that holds the battery in place. It all dried out and there was no resulting damage.

There are videos online on using sealant to make the water tight I haven't done this and only use my scooter in good weather now.

I am more than happy to answer any queries if people are looking at buying this.

Review here. Suspension seems to offset hard tyres.

It feels perfectly stable at full speed its just the brakes you have to be aware of, they do take a good 5 meters to stop at full chat.

Without the power it is just like a normal scooter, you don't feel any resistance from the motor. However, I dont think they would believe you were scooting manually at 30kmh.
If it puts your mind at rest I have passed plenty of Police officers on it and none of them took a 2nd glance

None seen many people using these in Nottingham (maybe one a week) but went Liverpool at the weekend and loads of people had them.

Nowhere near as many as Krakow though, where electric scooters were parked on every street.
