About this deal

I've used La Barbiera for a number of years now for some shaving kit, especially for soaps and razor blades. I came across this shaving kit that looks great for someone starting out, copied below what's in it. Seems a good price for £9.99 delivered with pretty much everything in there.

It's only £8.99 if you go to their website (www.labarbiera.co.uk), but mods won't allow that deal for some reason.

    Does anyone know what the brush is made from, please? I can’t see on the website but need synthetic.

    From Google, the Omega 10019 brush is a pure bristle brush which is a hog hair brush (most of Omega brushes are hog or badger).

    They do a synthetic brush with wooden handle - labarbiera.co.uk/col…ush

    As I understand it, eBay doesn't allow double edge blades for sale. Presumably why their website product includes them.

    Great little starter kit. You get a lot of bang for your buck. I bought it purely for shaving bowl (which is £8ish alone). I bought it about 2 months ago direct from website and been very impressed so far.

    Cheers. Bought it from the website as well as 12 soap sticks on clearance for £8.99. I think the bowl and the brush are probably worth the price of the set on their own. Nice one OP

    This looks so cool. I remember when my late dad used to shave with the kit and the double sided razor weighted like a tone. Being a kid and picking it up was heavy. :/

    They are alum styptic matches to stop minor cuts and nicks. You wet it and press against the nick and it stops the blood. Meant not to hurt, but it stings a little.

    Hmmmm, I purchased this and the kit turned up this morning but no razor in the box all other items present. Used their "contact us" form, I guess i will see how good there customer service is.
