I could not get an Orange Twirl egg in two different Morrisons. So I will be trying Tesco for one. (edited)

l fear you may be right about the novelty mugs! ... proportionately, most people don't utilise charity shops, which would of been the obvious outlet for them.

60p for a plain mug at Tesco! ... so they still sell to a degree, l've bought personalised mugs for friends over the years, and they love them!(though pricey those)

I am a fan of the mugs to be honest, very good for a hot chocolate. Also the mug design and shape has changed this year

I got the Mini Eggs Mug set today, I also wanted the Creme Egg Mug set but I couldn't find it in store. I also got the Twirl Orange and Terry's Chocolate Orange + Bar eggs. Shelves were unsurprisingly nearly empty. Thanks again OP! (edited)

They have medium for £1 - around 138g - unless you want a crappy mug they're generally better value
