I think the ones that use magnetic tape are best, cos it makes it easy to peel back/remove/re-attach the screens. They're more expensive, but it's worth it IMO.

I fitted some in my house earlier this year and have been really happy with them, as aside from a handful of really tiny moths getting through the mesh, nothing has got in, where typically I'd regularly have larger moths, wasps, bees, and spiders coming in through the open windows during the summer months.

We have the magic curtains version up for our french doors after seeing them on a relatives. They are great at keeping out the bugs while leaving the doors open in the balmy evenings and we highly recommend using these types of screens

All jokes, been looking for something similar to stop flies getting in but still easily accessible

I've bought these (once), the main picture (the one above) is used by a lot of sellers but does not look in anyway like what comes in the pack. Disappointing and a one time use.

Have any off you guys used actual 'frames' that either stick to the frame via magnets and/or permanently fix to the window frame and can be locked in place to cover the opening when the window is opened? I'm thinking something similar to that used in caravans.

Yes I have our whole house done in these. Far more expensive but last for ever. Keep everything out, and keep the cats in too !

Buy your own roll of mesh, buy some rolls of velcro and you can have many windows done at the right size. Did this a couple of year ago, it's a gamechanger, can leave windows wide open all night without mosquitoes, moths and spiders wandering in.

Any suggestions for putting up in conservatory. When it gets on the velcro peels off...as the backing melts
