Awesome - I didn't even know these existed. Just ordered one to go into my man-cave. It will take pride of place between the PS5 & XBSX.

In my experience, it can be terrible, and the customer service was even worse. Pray it all goes smoothly.

I fail to see the point making something you can buy the real thing for about 80% less.

You could get an immaculate boxed Atari 2600 with a few immaculate boxed games for less than this.

Yes it's probably fun to make but so is all the other sets of this calibre. Lego are starting to take the absolute p- for pricing. I can see why so many east Asian firms are starting to crop up with stuff as good quality-wise for less than half the cost (albeit questionable licences and copyright). (edited)

It's something that the big Lego Youtube reviewer JangBricks has brought up a lot which does bear repeating with sets like these. He aired more or less the same things you did; brilliant to build, but it's basically a one and done thing. And people who are keen on this and the recent £230 Pac-Man Arcade set have to debate with themselves the big question: is it really worth it over not just the real thing it's based on but the other sets that cost the same or a lot less.
