Tried to spec the minimum level of laptop I'd actually want to use including a backlit keyboard. Will need to install Windows or Linux etc. yourself. Can spec with a Ryzen 5 7520U and 16GB ram for £415.99. For £264, access lenovo education store then spec accordingly:

    Even though this is a 7000 2023 CPU it's actually an old Zen 2 4000 series CPU that's been rebranded. It's also only PCIe Gen 3 if that matters to anyone.

    The Ryzen 7000 naming convention is a complete mess right now so double check what you are actually getting. Especially if you are upgrading from an older Ryzen CPU as newer might not actually be better.
