    Newish budget 5 core processor, using the Raptor Lake-U architecture. Honestly I don't know much about this processor considering it's a new design. However the touch screen option is a plus. Best to go for min i3 at this price point.
    One issue I have is with the offending screen size but have chosen not to comment on that due to users on here not able to see my point.

    Interesting point. I'm aiming to downsize from a 15.6" laptop for something newer and more powerful. What do you know of that fits the bill around the 12-13.3" screen size? I'd budget up to around £500.

    Not sure how good this is at this price. I posted a simliar deal a week or two ago with an i3-1305U, 8GB RAM, and 256SSD with an IPS screen. It wasn't touchscreen but the same price. I would rather go with that configuration in my opinion even if it's a little extra.

    I completely agree with Kunjp7. Better to find a model with better options on Lenovo web site. CPU looks ok for the price but has to have at least 256gb ssd and choice of keyboards and screens.

    128GB SSD is a bit low in 2023, but looks a good deal with the touch screen IPS and other specs on a budget laptop.

    The ram also runs in single channel so GPU would be very slow

    I bought a different laptop last week from lenovo for £555, with the free memory and ssd upgrade and with £200 off ...... today they've cancelled it. It's still on sale but with the full price of £740.

    They won't tell me why they cancelled but i lost out on the deal and if i knew i could have bought from somewhere else on offer too (bank holiday).
