Received mine today. It’s either fake or corrupt. Returned immediately. Seems like a roll of the dice buying cards from Amazon.

Mine came also and failed validation in steam deck, then just wouldn't read

633x what? The speed of light? My bowel movements after a Friday night curry? What is this metric

    Voted hot, but so confused

Referenced to single speed CD ROM (data), so 633x 150kbytes/sec

Contact Lexar support. Let them know Amazon is dispatching fake Lexar cards directly. Suspect they'll care

Ok, really disappointed, got mine yesterday, tried it in every device and all I got was insert card. Had my suspicions when I opened it, as previous lexar products I have bought you needed a good pair of scissors to cut them open, but the packaging on this was hardly glued at the bottom and the SD cards themselves hardly had any clear plastic around them to hold them in place, and on originals the plastic spreads out quite wide. It hasn't put me of lexar but I think I will just get my cards from the original manufacturer website in future, I told Amazon I suspect they are fake and got a refund.

OP thank you btw, I got the option to not return and free £5 credit, just bought a integral 512gb micro SD card for the actual cost of this one! Plus 30p back !

Great deal and a good alternative now the Samsung one with the same specs from a few weeks ago is now unavailable. HOT!

My 128+128GB phone is full and technically I want more storage.

However, I only have myself to blame for this predicament. Should just delete some stuff and free up space.

    I don't need it...

But it'd be nice to have tons of space.

But I don't need it. (edited)

The Samsung Evo Select 512GB were £37 a few weeks back, this should perform almost identically so I would snatch these while you can! Especially if you have a Steam Deck

Great price, A2 should be great for installing games faster on steam deck.

Good find, bought one, really like lexar storage, never had any problems with their storage and always good quality

Mine should be arriving today, whats a good way to make sure its not a fake ?

Yep. Mine arrived. Also failed and confirmed fake. Amazon taking it back but really really poor they've dispatched fakes directly.

Edit - spoken to Trading Standards and they want to follow it up (and are advising I don't just send the fake back). However so far Amazon are refusing to refund until I do. Annoyed me enough to let Lexar know about this so they can decide whether they want to take action themselves directly. Seems a very odd hill for Amazon to choose to die on tbh. (edited)

I pushed Amazon to refund me without sending them back , and then chatted to their fraud department and got £10 compensation

Complained, told to keep Fake card , sending replacement, see if it's another fake
  19. Avatar
Confirmed fake here also. Lucky you got told to keep yours, I have been told I need to send mine back. Postage is prepaid, fingers crossed RM don't lose it in the mail system.
