Seemed like a great deal considering the specifications as I was looking through price spy for an upgrade and was looking through the PS5/PC monitor options for 1 ms, 32', 144Hz monitor and found this. Let me know if I'm missing something lol (HDMI 144Hz, DP 165Hz)

This is a good spec, but the VA panel will disappoint some.

Yeah, you're correct. I was primarily going to use it as a pc fps monitor for Valorant, CSGO, etc., as I have a tv attached to my pc and console I tend to watch media and play most story-based games on the tv, so I didn't take that into consideration.

Seems like another simmilarly spec'd LG gaming monitor if you want to trade out 32' to 27' for an IPS display instead of a VA one, 165Hz to 144Hz, and save 10£ for a two-for-one cocktail deal if you can still find one around

Wow, 32 feet ! That is huge!

Some people don't know the difference between ' and " - probably a typo, though! (edited)

It's only va panel tho not great :/

I’m looking a new dedicated monitor to replace my slow 32” TV. I’m new in the market, what’s the difference with a VA panel?
  4. Turret-Buddy's avatar
Use this on my series x, it's great!

You're missing out of 4K though. There's a big difference at 32" between 1080p/1440p and 4K. If you're not someone that's bothered so much about graphics, how sharp your games look, then fair enough.

Do monitors all tend not to have built in speakers?
    darkclouds's avatar
99.9% don’t and if they do they are normally poor

Nice deal. Still unsure if va is gonna bug me tho. I use a TN panel 144hz currently
    redCabbage4's avatar
TN is worst kind of panel. Why would having better panel bug you?
  9. AverageJoeseph's avatar
Don't believe the va ms times. It will frustrate you if you're a above average competent gamer.

    Which HDMI port is it?

I currently have a 4K Curved 32" Samsung monitor and I'd like a second screen for gaming as my Samsung caps at 60fps. Would this be a good option?

I do most of my gaming on an LG OLED on consoles so I'm not *that* bothered about the colours being insane on this, more interested in the refresh rate for playing action games. Any input would be appreciated!
    OhTyler's avatar
Depends on your GPU. I know some people that have 240Hz Monitors but they'll never take advantage of it 99% of the time due to not having a beefy enough GPU to reach anything like those frames.
  12. bradley.tierney's avatar
maybe price shifts could be happening with other monitors due to the release of oled monitors
  13. Propaganda_Panda_'s avatar
Good deal, but such a shame its a VA Panel. Response times are fabricated.

If you're not a hardcore gamer, you definitely won't notice & this is a great deal.
  14. xWaZeK's avatar
Can anyone help? How do you set up a double monitor for pc, but have one connected to the xbox as well, so when I turn the console on it automatically connects to the xbox
    Ravster's avatar
Look up an HDMI switch/splitter, it's exactly what I use for my monitor since I use it as my work screen and gaming screen.

VA panel, so depending on your viewing distance (hence the change of angle), you'll notice color and bright changes. Great price otherwise if you're happy with the VA panel.

Check some online reviews/comparisons between IPS/VA.

Decent price for 32"... and 165Hz

Reviews on RTings.com are often pretty in-depth:
    rtings.com/mon…0-b

I just got myself the Gigabyte M32Q (in promo) and even though I really like the screen, 32 inch is rather large if your desk is not very deep. Still not sure about it... I feel that 27" is the sweet spot for 2560x1440
32 inch can be a little overwhelming at times, especially in fast paced games.
  18. Gztsby's avatar
I am gaming currently on a HISENSE U7G 4k 120hz VA panel, I notice nothing, it looks absolutely beautiful to me even playing fast paced games. I should be fine to buy this for use with my pc right?
    darkclouds's avatar
If you like a va panel get it as if you move to a IPs you will notice the differences
  19. thelaine's avatar
Seems we have some knowledgeable people in here.
    I have a Samsung odyssey g3 32inch.
It has some dark patches formed on the screen directly above where my speakers have been underneath it.
I know speakers where a big problem for crt but thought modern monitors had no issues with this.
Anyone got any idea of it's something that will fade now the speaker have been moved?
  20. replicant69's avatar
Hoping someone can best advise here please....

Just moved house and currently both OLED 77" and OLED65" are boxed and garaged.
I need something to play the xbox series x on.
We dug out an old 42"LG for the bedroom but there is a weird lag that's not Internet related, almost like the TV can't keep up, but then it's mega old!

Would this monitor be good for Xbox series x gaming, or could someone recommend better?

I dont mind if it costs a bit more if worth it over the current offering. Or do you think the offer is a win win (price vs spec).

    Thanks
