The LG HU85LS is an ultra-short-throw 4K laser projector that uses DLP technology and includes a built-in webOS 4.5 smart platform.

Far more expensive than a 4K TV and by no means an impulse buy, but this is one of the best 4K projectors you can buy, Ultra Short Throw, and Laser so it doesn't require lamp changes. This is the lowest price it's ever been at according to CamelCamelCamel.

  • 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) Display - Cine Beam that perfectly fits into your home
  • Up to 2700 lumen brightness - laser projector (class 1 Laser)
  • Display a 120 inch screen from just 7. 2 inch away from projector surface
  • Lg Smart TV - includes magic remote
  • Includes LG Thin-Q AI and the Google Assistant

Great ultra short throw projector but not a good deal!! This is nearly 4yrs old and has been as low as £2250 brand new from Amazon.
I wouldn't want to pay thatuch for this age of technology when newer models perform a lot better

When was it £2250? CCC shows this as the lowest it’s been.

Id go get a hisense triple laser for this kind of money. The samsung lsp9 even went to 2k..although considerably more currently.

Or the triple laser version with a 100 inch or 120 inch alr screen included.

The 100" version is of course cheaper.

The 120" screen would probably cost you £1k... and you MUST have an ALR screen for a UST otherwise the picture quality is absolute garbage

Alternatively you can get a 98" TCL TV for £3.5k, which will be much better in many ways compared to a 100" UST image. Id consider 120"+ UST over the TCL though

Ive had a epson ls500 and 100" optoma alr screen so i have some experience here (edited)
