LG OLED TV is a joy to behold. Self-lit pixels allow truly spectacular picture quality and a whole host of design possibilities, while the latest cutting-edge technologies help deliver unprecedented levels of wonder. This is everything you love about TV - elevated in every way.

What makes OLED unlike anything else?
The answer is self-lit pixels. A self-luminous display technology that makes all the difference to your viewing experience. Unlike LED TVs that are restricted by backlight technology, LG OLED TVs are capable of extreme realism and unique designs.

SELF-LIT PiXELS - 100 million reasons to love OLED.
When it comes to picture quality, OLED beats LED hands down. That's because OLED has millions of self-lit pixels capable of producing perfect black and accurate colour. The result is a viewing experience like no other.

OLED puts LED in the shade.
Put simply, OLED has millions of self-lit pixels that can turn on and off to achieve perfect black and infinite contrast. That black is better than both mini-LED and LED TVs. So it doesn't matter how many thousands of backlights they have, LED TVs will still be in OLED's shadow.
100% Colour Fidelity

OLED passes with flying colours.
Global testing agency Intertek has confirmed that LG OLED displays have 100% colour fidelity. This means that the colours you see on the screen closely match the colours of the original image. So everything you watch looks as the creator intended.

100% Colour Volume - A dazzling display of colour.
LG OLED TVs achieve full Colour Volume thanks to the excellent colour reproduction technology of LG TVs. With 100% Colour Volume, LG OLED can express 100% of the DCI-P3 spectrum across a 3D colour space that covers the TV's full luminance range. This means that colours remain vivid and lifelike with full saturation no matter how bright or dark the display.

LG OLED TV - A view found nowhere else.
If you're looking for a TV like no other, look no further. LG OLED TV is a work of art, a big-screen cinema, a portal to gaming worlds, and a front row seat to the biggest sporting events. It's everything you want TV to be.

OLED Cinema - The award for best picture goes to…
LG OLED TV produces an award-worthy performance every time you watch thanks to its incredibly sharp picture. And with perfect black and 100% colour fidelity, movies are seen how they're meant to be seen.

Home to all your favorites.
Access the Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV app, and Amazon prime video. Choose From the latest movies, TV shows, documentaries, and live sports, and find them all in one place.
*Netflix streaming membership required.

Dolby Vision IQ & Dolby Atmos - A transformative TV experience.
Dolby Vision IQ intelligently adjusts picture settings based on content genre and ambient surroundings, while Dolby Atmos delivers multi-dimensional surround sound — a powerful combination that produces breathtakingly cinematic results.

FILMMAKER MODE™ - The director's vision brought to life.
FILMMAKER MODE™ turns off motion smoothing while preserving the original aspect ratios, colours, and frame rates. This accurately delivers the director's original vision, so you experience the film the way they intended.

HDR 10 Pro - Get the full range of enjoyment.
LG's own dynamic range technology, HDR 10 Pro, adjusts brightness to enhance colour, reveal every tiny detail, and bring lifelike clarity to every image — it also intensifies regular HDR content. Now all your favorite movies and shows will be more vivid and vibrant from beginning to end.

OLED Gaming - It's game over for the competition.
LG OLED TV puts you ahead of the game with swift response, the latest gaming features, and a 120Hz display for a smoother playing experience. This is the ultimate TV for your gaming setup.

Partnerships with Game Industry Leaders - An unbeatable combo.
LG continues to work with industry-leading companies to ensure you get the best possible gaming experience. We partnered with NVIDIA and AMD to make LG OLED TV the only G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync™ Premium certified TV. And on top of that, we joined forces with Xbox to unleash the full potential of next-gen gaming, becoming the official TV partner of the Xbox Series X console. Combine all this with the stunning picture quality and ultra-fast response times of OLED and you're guaranteed to get the most out of gaming every time you play.

It's not going to be as bright but LG have better processing and are better with low quality video. Also LG build quality is better and regularly updates issues very quickly. I've had 3 Lg oleds now and all have been superb. I'm waiting on the G3 to be at a reasonable price.

Has anyone watched subpar content like 720p or bad quality 1080p and what was the experience like with the upscaler in the TV ? It's the only thing holding me back from purchasing a 4K OLED

C1 (2021) C2 (2022) and C3 (2023) are model years. A, B, C, G etc are the models in the same year from the cheapest to more expensive. I would avoid A - it’s only 60Hz panel and lower processor. B has 120Hz panel, but still the same lower processor. B also does not use evo panel like C and above, which results in lower peak brightness. C is the best performance for the money - evo panel, same as G version (a bit lower brightness though) and the same superior processor as G. C version processor should be a lot better at upscaling the content. G is basically the same C, but slightly better looking design and slightly brighter and does not come with a stand if I remember correctly - not worth the extra money IMO. Z is 8K, which is a complete waste of money IMO. The last bit of a model is just the colour of the bezels. Hope this clears the OLED naming scheme from LG (edited)

10% cashback on completesavings too. Really tempted by this but gonna wait till the C2 goes around this price. Not in a hurry

It will be a long while till C2 reaches 800. Pending how long LG keep it about. CS not dead yet. WIll this drop further around B/Hol weekend in 2 weeks time? Previous low was 719. Some have done better with cashback.

You could almost buy 2 of these for the price of a 65 inch model. Few bargains in the 65 inch arena so may have to consider this. Had a look at the Truspilot reviews on product support for LG, Panasonic, Samsung and Sony. Read them and you might never buy one of their products. Make sure you get a 5 year parts and labour warranty. You will need it.

Better off buying a mini led backlit LCD when you go above 55 inches. The TCL launching soon with 2000 nits is £2k for 85 inch model.

Still rocking my 2017 b7 55in. Only regret was not going 65in. I followed online picture set up guide on day 1 and haven't altered it since. No burn in yet.

I purchased the 65inch on release of the C1 and I purchased this deal for the 55inch from Crampton and Moore about a month ago when it was down to around this price.

Stunning TV, colours are amazing and for gaming is really is smooth.

Wouldn’t ever change now from an LG OLED

For info -The c1 uses the heavier original metal chassis which is probably stronger and the full length stand which again is more stable. C2 now has plastic chassis except the 48 which still uses the c1 metail one..

Excellent deal. I missed out a £750 richer sounds deal on this last month. Ended up buying the CS for £829 as a managers special. Wonder how much of an update that is vs C1?
    Deal_searcher's avatar
    Deal_searcher
Very little difference. An upgraded processor which is supposedly better. In reality you won't see it unless side by side and even then only on certain specific content where it recognises it and there was an improvement in the newer chip to make it look like there is more detail.

65 C1’s are a very rare breed these days. Richer Sounds had the CS for £1399 with a free sound bar that once sold could get you close to £1K

What do you guys do with your perfectly good old TVs if they're too big to put in another room, where can we sell or trade them in? As I would need to do this with my 49KS9000 or just give it away. (edited)

Burn in an issue with these? I'm reading you have to take precautions for gaming eg taking hud off? Pretty new to oled and I'll be gaming maybe an hour or two a day on it max. More while zelda is still fresh!

Had it for 2 years, no burn in. They have a lot burn in mitigation measures now. Older oleds were a lot more susceptible to this issue. Just don’t leave it on game screen all day. Paused content (movies, tv shows etc) will switch to a black screen with a moving clock/weather, but moving content (paused game with moving elements or if you just leave the game running and go out) will not switch. If you watch a varied content, you should be ok.
