People who said in Jan prices will drop and to hold off because new models will come… didn’t really happen. Best time to buy is when you need it or in November

Wonder if calling them and mentioning HDTV Test will still get you a discount it did on my B9 a few years ago

Definitely worth calling them. I got £300 off a G2 a few months back by going back and forth between 2 retailers.

What about a Samsung S95B 65 inch for 1380? Good deal?

Do we think we will see the 1500 / 2000 series Panasonic or the Sony A90J for this money? (I know we won’t see the A90K at this money!!)

Is this a real warranty or a percentage richer sounds nonsense?

I have been looking at this tv for a while now and with my works scheme we have 10% off with Marks Electrical and i also have 10% back cashback with Amex so £1376 in total. Also the G2 comes in at £1620 is the G2 worth extra £243.

I personally don't think the G2 is worth the extra money, you can read about the differences here whathifi.com/adv…-tv

If you intend on mounting the TV on the wall & will not be considering a soundbar or similar to enhance sound, then the G2 may be the better choice en.tvhifipro.com/tel…es/

As the articles say, the G2 is bit brighter too - but these TVs are fantastic, even my 'older tech' LG OLED from 2015 is still going strong & I've never yearned for a 'brighter' display.
Plus, it was bundled with a powerful free LG soundbar & for these 2 reasons have never felt the need to upgrade since! (edited)

Thanks. I know a lot of people have mentioned that using the code from blue light stops amex for showing up.
