How is this compared to the G2427D? I currently have Huawei full HD screen and am looking for a dual monitor setup. Any advice?

RTings recommend the G2427D as best in that price range. They just published a review of the LG as lots were asking for it and scored lower than the Dell. I was between the 2 and just received the Dell today and quite impressed by it, particularly the brightness and the colour it produces. I got the Dell for £222 on Amazon a few days ago but now up to £279, it has been ~£200 every couple of months on sale so may happen again.

I bought this a few months ago, best monitor i have ever had, 1440p is the sweet spot for visuals and high fps, plus the image quality is second to none, colours and nice and vibrant, and it also has a volume control for the headphone jack, which is great, very pleased indeed with this monitor, and i paid £240 and still think i got a utter bargin,

This has expired but if anyone wanted this and missed it then you can get it for £186 directly from the LG website if you have a student discount count from student beans. It was the code that says "15% of all monitors, etc..." but it actually gives you 20% off

I just tried this but it says the code is invalid

Never mind, I switched from Brave browser to edge and it worked. Thanks (edited)

Managed to pick one of these up, I'm picky with colours, after customization its good, no backlight bleed or glow and no dead pixels only negative is this on max brightness is the same as my benq on 40%. so ill be looking for an alternative, feels like there's a grey filter over everything due to the brightness being so low, probably wouldnt have noticed it if i didnt already have a 350 nit monitor.
