Good price for both of these, cheapest I’ve seen them so far I think. Currys relatively close price wise on the 45” but can’t beat Costcos customer service and returns!

This monitor was on sale on the 1st July this year direct from LG itself. They were going for £690. There are mixed reviews on this panel, in particular the issues with the brightness/nits count. Also the matt screen has put a lot of people off. I never pulled the trigger for both of these reasons.

I wish you posted that here on HUKD

I ended up trading this back in after a month of use for the ASUS variant instead, but still it's a great monitor for this price.

What did you find lacking on this particular monitor that the Asus was able to meet?

Interested in biting, but trying to find any excuse not to. Currently use a 27" IPS QHD monitor, 75hz and 4ms frametime as my main monitor. So in terms of responsiveness and fps, this is already a huge upgrade

But given the price point, wouldn't object to paying a bit more for something that'll meet my needs + more.

The 34 OLED is also considered great. If you were deciding between them then I guess the most important thing is are you happy with such a big resolution -> sacrificing FPS.
I prefer extremely smooth gaming so I'll happily take 1440p to make that happen

Is there burn in protection in the warranty?
