A combination of agents which cleans, disperses, protects materials and boosts the cetane number. The lubricity enhancer contained provides sufficient lubricity for diesel fuels low in sulphur. Due to the increased ignition performance, the fuel shows better combustion behaviour when the engine is cold and unpleasant odours in the exhaust gases are reduced.
Suitable for all diesel engines with and without a diesel particulate filter. Preventive or remedial. sorted byFor my sins I developed BP's diesel fuel additive in the early '90s. TBH, I was never much convinced that these additives were ever warranted. To me, they were additives that did nothing to fix problems that didn't exist! (edited)
