For anyone wondering, drill down and its a ETA caliber 2892-A2 modified and rebadged. That base movement was released in 1975, so state of the art is a real push. It is however a solid mid range Swiss watch that has subjective styling. It will absolutely tank in value.

IMO for this money you would be far better of tracking down something like a Pre-owned Tudor.

Don't most Tudors have ETA movements?

Longines designers must cringe each time they are told what copy they have to force onto these dials. (edited)

Look, they are very proud of getting 5 stars on Amazon, so why not wear it with pride?

(Not sure I would be boasting of a 1 star review, though?)

    Nice

The design looks to me more Seiko than Swiss

    Really? In what way?

    Really dislike the 5 stars.

    Yeah I agree, looks tacky

Nice looking watch. Not sure I can warrant paying £2,200 though.

Would you pay £1650 used for pre owned but amazing condition and full set?

I really like the Spirit series and the 39mm versions are better size imho but personally I’d try and get a good used deal and let someone else take the hit with depreciation.

This would have been seriously tempting at around 1.4-1.5k, but not at the current price, for me.
    Rumcajs_9's avatar
I agree, I think I would pull the trigger for £1.5k

EJ had this a couple of weeks ago with an extra 15% off so £1870 which was an excellent price

Have you got the link to that shop?

Hot for me, it's one of the cheapest Swiss True GMT watches and, if I'm right, the cheapest that's COSC certified making this a great deal. It'll always be cheaper 2nd hand but this is the price for new and, as such, is excellent.
  10. Dave_Baines's avatar
Nice but not cheap for the brand.

Really nice colourway imo. 1.5k less than Tudor GMT too!

Nice, good price for a GMT

You’ll love the price you can get it for 1 day old and unworn! This thing will tank in value when you buy it. Find one like that and save yourself huge amounts. (edited)

It's a great watch, but if you want the bracelet you can't order it separately easily so I would only get this if you know you won't want it.

Really like some of the longines specially the hydroconquest but they always seem to mess the straps up which spoils the look of the entire piece.

Love the design, hate the price!

I’ll stick with my Marloe watches, great designs and great prices.

You may as well but from AliExpress for a top quality Miyota automatic. Even you are paying a premium tbh.
