That little Makpak case would smashing for bits and bobs. But I can't justify £37.79 just for the case, as all the drill bits would be in the bin a week later

Utter rubbish, nothing like the quality of Makita's drills. Why do they do this?

A few years ago I bought a Makita drill with battery and charger, which has most if not all of these in it's carry case. In the time since, I've actually used about half of the accessories, then replaced them in short order with much better quality items. The other accessories just haven't been used at all, I soon learned that the majority of the extras were just case fillers.

It's true that Makita really do not do accessories very well, just rely on them to pull unknowing people into buying the tools over someone elses. A shame as their actual electric tools are so good I own quite a few.
