Went as low as £45 last month and I was tempted to bite. This price now is as low as I've ever seen.

Description

The Makita DUH523Z hedge trimmer features a 520mm double sided stain free shear blade with a surface of glittering silver, obtained by non-electrolyzed nickel plating that produces a high anti-abrasion surface for long life. This makes it user replaceable without the need to disassemble the housing.

The rubberised soft grip provides a comfortable and sure grip and the anti-vibration structure has 5 cushions that absorb the vibration from the blade and crank. A battery indicator on the handle flashes red when power is getting low and is solid red when battery power is exhausted.

I put the code in and it comes down to £48. How come it's coming to £40 for others

Thanks, would rarely use this, but at this price it would be rude not to buy.

Great price but Fast Fix has poor stock control and sometimes cancels order due to no stock. If you want one get in quick. (edited)

Personally never had an issue. They are a genuine company, with real stock.

I'd be surprised if they were making any profit with the discount dropping it to £40, by the time you've factored in initial cost, fees and shipping. Switching price to £60 before discount puts it back to around the price they were selling before when discount is applied. Shame I missed it - not seen it at this price for ages and been looking out for one.

It's only £8 more in fairness after the discount, so not a horrendous hike. I'd have grabbed one at anything under £50 if i didn't already have one, DOH.

Do you just hold these and it cuts by itself or do you plug it in. My bush has grown so high and I need to clean my garden thanks

5ah genuine makita Lxt 18v battery around £60. You will also need a charger £15-£20. Plenty on ebay etc (edited)
