If you want to achieve stripes on your lawn without roller you can cut the grass to desired length. Ideally 5-7cm and then lower the mower all the way down to the shortest setting and with mower turned off just push it along your lawn. One stripe into one direction and the next one the opposite and so on. It works

    These are done with DLM431.

Useful tip, and I do like my lawn stripes, but there’s no way I’m ‘mowing’ my lawn twice every time!!

I have this mower. Its excellent and the batteries last for a good 3 cuts of my average back garden and large front garden

Recommended. Just remember to check if you already have the batteries or if not, see if you can get this mower with batteries & charger for a good price. I got my mower and 2 batteries and charger via ebay last summer for £295 with one of their 20% off promotions

Tempting. Different model though - this has a 430mm blade, the other is 380mm

Ordered. Was looking at this just yesterday and the going rate was about £225. Would be happy with the DLM382Z (380mm) but that seems to be more expensive than this.

Got this and cut the grass today. Great however the lawnmower is a bit heavy not sure it the 18v are a lot lighter.

They will be at least one battery lighter, if they even do a mower with only one battery.
