The Marcy MWM-8070 Power Cage has been designed around an effective barbell and bodyweight training workout system for those who train hard and want to push themselves harder.

The Marcy Power Cage holds robust bar catchers with 13 bar height holes on the front and inside of the cage perfect alignment for any user. Straps spanning the full cage have been designed for additional safety. Using any of the 13 bar height points within the cage, you can angle them using the reinforced nylon to let the weigh roll away from you for your protection. Included are straps that are engineered from reinforced nylon to prevent scuffing on the barbell knurling and to handle heavy weight loads.

Designed for a full-body workout in order to maximise strength, the Marcy MWM-8070 Power Cage allows a full range of exercise movements to be performed including pull-ups, dips and press ups for rewarding upper body strength progression and ultimately reaching your goals. Fitted landmine pegs allow for new exercises like landmine presses, squats, T-bar rows and oblique twists adding diversity to your workout.

Fitted with a 2.5 inch thick padded upholstery to provide support and withstand those intense workout sessions. The weight bench has a smooth, sleek adjustment system allowing you to change the position to upright, incline, flat and decline angles depending on your workout. The weight bench can be used independently or be combined with the Marcy Power Rack to add a new dynamic to your strength training to improve your performance levels.

The Power Cage framework crafted from 14-inch gauge thick solid steel provides the robustness required for you to strength train your full body and see results quickly. The 14-inch steel is powder-coated to protect the Marcy MWM-8070 from scratches and maintain its silver steel colour and durability while providing a premium finish.

Seems like a good bit of kit for the price, and I’d prefer this over the smith machine tbh.

Edit: There are other reputable options available for less money with a greater weight limit, which makes this worse than I’d initially thought. (edited)

    Max load 135kg is pathetic

This is actually a crazy cheap price for a cage, especially with all the extra parts to it.

The only thing is it's massive so you need a lot of space for it !

Pls nobody in my family spot such a deal. 4 abandoned real + 2 hardly used exercise bikes in our garages (one CRAZY beyond belief expensive) + one similar still in house. Assembly of other kit dust traps in various rooms or hallways, never used. Also gym subscriptions. Nice park 150 yards away, a bigger common 350 yards away other direction with coffee vendors - just go for a walk, run, stretch or local gym please my faceache fam.

Great deal, but I can see the height being an issue for most home users. Unless that guy is about 4'2"

242cm so pretty high but inline with other racks ive been looking at, some ive seen are 270cm!

    Max 135kg....

Take it seriously and you'll outgrow this rack quick.

I agree with the general point here, but I'd be really impressed by an average person who can hit a three plate squat quickly.

Lol the clearly photoshopped arm. And clearly skipping out on leg days

Great price but the orange fabric strips instead of spotter bars would worry me what would happen if you dropped the bar when lifting something heavy? (edited)
    DonnyBrago's avatar
Probably why they weight rated the cage so low

The built in toaster rack on the back is a nice touch!

Looks more like a bike storage rack to me

Will I look like this dude after a week?

Yes - if you already look like him

Looks like one of those things that people will just end up hanging their clothes on, especially clothes that have been worn once but are not quite ready for the laundry basket yet.
