Expensive considering it is soon to be replaced by 2024

This is cheap compared to other prices at the moment, hence the post. I mentioned that it will be replaced at the end of the year, but that is still 9 months away so you could get 100's of hours of value out of this. Also this is the Deluxe Edition which retails £20 above the Standard Edition, so a good deal IMHO.

If you're planning on buying this for your PC, you better not. The Microsoft Store version will take forever to download (~120 GB), and if the download fails, it starts from the beginning again. Get the Steam version instead!

💯 I tried twice and I have a 1gbps line and it still wouldn't do it.

Any news on the 2024? Is it still worth it to get this?

Not at this price but it’s also available on Gamepass which could be decent value if you wish to try other stuff. Also take into consideration that if you purchase the 2020 version from Microsoft you will be locked into that version’s Marketplace.

Ie if you buy lots of addons then decide you wish to purchase the 2024 version on Steam your marketplace purchases will not be transferable. (edited)

Note you can't use gift balance against this, only can use debit card to pay. I didn't buy cause l got gift balance on amazon and they want me to fork out more monies to buy something that is supplied and forfilled by amazon. What do I do about the gift balance then.

Lots of reports of confusion downloading this, anyone know how and what software needed to download this edition from amazon? (edited)

Windows 10 or 11 or an XBox X or S.

If you go for the former, make sure it a half decent machine.

Just avoid flying boeing planes as the preflight checks take a very long time

That and the doors eject themselves mid-flight

Tried the trial version when it came out. Couldn't get the planes to fly straight. Looking forward to the new version though.

I'd grab if it they offered an upgrade route to the next one.

I have never played this, but looking at youtube videos it looks pretty amazing, especially when people make a cockpit with 3+ screens at the front. Flight sims seems to be the one thing that Microsoft is actually good at.

It's not even an in house Microsoft developed game, it's published by them but it's made by Asobo the same studio that makes the plague tale series

Anyone know why this will never play on my Xbox one x. Via cloud gaming. My Wi-Fi is good. Just cracks and glitches

Surprised you could even load it given it's not available for your console. (edited)
