I’m not sure if it’s the same, but the relate with two outlets drips water from the central point where the hose hangs down. I bought one and Mira came out and swapped it for the next model up called atom. The engineer said that the atom was far more solid than the relate model.
He said it’s a known design fault and most of his call outs are to relate owners.

Love Mira. They replaced my cartridge after 4.5 years into 5 years parts and labour warranty. I wasn’t aware of the warranty and they advised me to check if I was eligible. I couldn’t find the receipt so they advised proof of installation. I had a builders invoice which they said was find, but in the end never checked it.

Technician who came out to replace the cartridge showed me a load of plaster in the strainer which had contributed to the pump failure. Still they replaced for free with no quibble. Fantastic service.

Mira are fantastic. I've fitted hundreds of them and rarely have any problem outside of grit in the filters. I recently fitted one round my brother's house and can say with no doubt that it is one of the best showers I have ever used.

I don't understand why these are so expensive when all they do is mix hot and cold?

Cheaper at my local wolseley plumbcenter, amazon make it seem cheap as its convenient but these can be bought in your local plumbers merchant for less as they are nearly always on a special offer

Moved into a house with 2 brand new Mira showers (one is the one mentioned and the other is an electric model) and have had several problems with them dropping from various points. Previous to this we just had a cheapy mixer from b&q attached to the wall and had no problems.

My daughter was scalded by her Mira electric shower earlier this week and is now too frightened to use it so I do note rate Mira at all.
