So to save 60£ on graphic card you need to:
-do 260£ gambling with not known computer parts brand (it may be not genuine at all)
-wait for a custom duty and courier costs
-have no warranty or/if takes months to sort out with customer service in China

And everything to virtualy save 60£ on a very important computer part, lasting usually 3 years +...

Hey, 60 quid is 60 quid

In all seriousness, the 300q quid one is Amazon US so you may experience similar headache with warranty. (edited)

Import duties kick in on orders over £135. Not to mention couriers "admin" cost. It adds up to a whole bunch of heartache

A bit of a lottery, I agree - in my experience they hugely undervalue the product for the customs so that you avoid it. I'd pay with a Credit Card / PayPal to be on the safe side.

They do look identical tbh. Interestingly this, together with Xfx has 2x8 pin PCI-E power delivery. The Fighter variant I'm using has 8+6 and Sapphire only single 8pin.

If you pay in dollars with a fee free card it works out around £223.

Just advise. Never buy noname card from China.

I second that from and especially AliExpress, could be anything in that card, they can change the vbios on the card to make it look like anything.
Go purchase a card from a legit source.

If any of you wanna ask a Chinese if it’s a reliable brand, my answer is I never heard of this one too.

The brand has been reviewed on YouTube, it's fine

After the 6600M and 5700XT from the same store, destroying UK retail prices, now comes the 6700 and hopefully soon the 6800. You'll see a ton of negative comments about such products- a few seconds thought will inform you who has an interest in trying to put people off.

The basic Chinese builds are best with parts designed for mobile use, since these can have sensible cooling solutions with sensible VRM designs. I wouldn't ever touch AMD's overvolted and overclocked models- they are very power inefficient, and live on the edge of the die design spec. It is better, if one needs more performance, to go to the next biggest die instead. So the 6700 is vastly more preferable to the 6650XT for instance. And the 6800 more desirable than the 6750XT. And, of course, you get more VRAM this way too.

I've got their RX 6600M and had no issues, shiipping only took about 10 days too.

Read on Reddit 2-3 years ago someone shared post about companies in China buying PCBs that didn’t pass quality check tests. they refurbish them and sell to children in the west who think they are saving money.
    Spark's avatar
Actually they mostly sell them to Russians, Brazilians and others who struggle to find products like this in their home market at a decent price.

Desperate times do call for desperate measures. Interesting, but I'm not quite there yet!

Ridiculous HUKD allows anything off of ali but not smaller ebay/amazon marketplace sellers

Not to discredit the deal at all. And those saying save £60 should be considering the % price increase

I would never trust Aliexpress with that sort of money... I have been ripped off too many times as they side with the seller everytime
    Neostar's avatar
Just follow AliExpress rules and they will side with you no problem

So how much is customs duty? if its the same as vat then this will be very close to 300 quid, so not much of a saving, and a dodgy warrenty...
    Stormpooper's avatar
There lies the problem.... nobody really knows lol! VAT is generally taken by Aliexpress when checking out - the duty is decided by Customs, but what they base it on (eg the price of the card over here) is a lottery - they may simply google it, and I doubt they'll look for the cheaspest available in the UK, more likely the first one that pops up. Then there will be the extra £8 charged by RM (if it's them) on top of the duty for collecting it.
Of course it could slip through and not attract any charges.... another lottery.
There a lot of unknown factors to take into consideration when buying things of value from China, top of the list is what happens if it goes wrong. Paypal won't cover it for long, and I have no idea about credit cards/buying electronics from China. Most companies will insist you send it back for investigation, I doubt any would roll over and refund you in full on this without having it back - I mean it wouldn't be hard to say it doesn't work, just make a video of a black screen lol! You can get the sapphire 6700 xt for under £40 more

    Where is that Paul?

    Thanks

Watch this and think about not purchasing a card from AliExpress or a ebay china retailer.

    Neostar's avatar
AliExpress is a market place with millions of sellers on there. So before buying you have to check the seller first and if anyone scams you it can be reported just like on eBay (edited)
  22. stamfordblue's avatar
Wouldn't use Aliexpress for buying a graphics card for this amount of money.
Possible import taxes, courier charges, and always the chance that what you get isn't genuine.
