About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
Moto E on Vodafone, pay as you go.
45£ one off fee (if you choose the 'use existing sim' option).
I am not sure if this phone will be locked, but there are many providers on auction sites that would unlock it for under 2£.
It is a very good phone for the money, the only down side is that there is no autofocus on the camera (but people seem to buy phones like the Desire 510 for twice this price - a phone that has a similar limitation).
IF YOU GET ISSUES ADDING TO CART BE A BIT PERSISTENT AND PATIENT (it took me a couple of attempts of going back and forth as their site was getting stuck on the accessories page).
So all an all a good deal imho.
Found and easy way if the site locks up when you select your freebee sim. Just go to the url in your browser and delete back, to leave "shop.vodafone.co.uk/shop" and press enter.
Now go to your basket (shows empty) and the moto e selected should be there. Proceed to checkout.

Update: 2pm 20th Nov - Stock
HUKD member sumitkd has successfully walked into a VF store and purchased one of these as "Sim Free" without having to buy a VF freebie sim and / or enter any numbers ;-)
So if you are near to VF might help those still struggling

Have sent a quick email to "Amzn Stock Controller" [from an earlier Amzn bulk deal that went horribley wrong] to ask if can update|add|find some stock so VF can refresh their bin of stock|how many are for sale, was down to 2 so we shall see..

Ugh, this has troll written all over it.
Have you got "idiot" tattooed all over you? If not, maybe you should have.

"We're updating the Vodafone shop Warning -
If you're a new customer or purchasing Pay as you go, you won't be able to place an online order until we've finished our updates."
I've given up with Vodafone but I found it on Amazon for the same price, 15 available:

Some info in the thread may help others:
hotukdeals.com/dea…228
Unlock codes can be bought from this seller posted previously by captainbeavus ebay.co.uk/itm…137
For anyone still struggling to actually buy one [before they are out of stock!] here is a BYPASS CART LINK:
shop.vodafone.co.uk/sho…479
If you want MORE than 1 unit, just copy and paste or click the link again ;-)

You can also add a "sim" or "freebie" to the cart after adding the phone|phones, but not interested in VF, as will be putting 3 sims to good use in these handsets!

Hope it helps ;-)
Stating negatives is slagging? Funny.
You will get your Amzn Moto E, if you were in the first 17 [which is how many they had when MattC posted the link] it then dropped like a stone, I got confirmation for 1, but no "this will be with you" prime delivery update date...
Should imagine that the Amzn bin, was emptied in seconds as this deal and the new amazon link to stock are now all over the blooming internet!!
And to make matters worse... how about this for "Ebay Entrepreneur of the Year!" oO
[image missing]
Yes that is a seller, selling the link here!!!
Nice of them to go buy it for you, unlock it and then post it, if needed... but as there is no stock anywhere, might struggle with that!
Price will be back to £70-90 again in most places, as the next drop with be BF/CM weekend deals!!
Hope everyone saved up some big ££££ like I suggested last year on HUKD's...
There are going to be some *stunning* cheapo deals this year, will break all other sales records by millions!

Yes mine is about a week slow ... hasn't turned up yet and Vodafone don't seem to know their **** from their elbow.oO
Hopefully the money I gave my brother to order this for me actually went to Vodaphone and not the local pub ... though to be fair I think the publican may have better customer service techniques in place that Vodaphone.
A 5 month old using a smartphone?
That was the 4th word I quoted. X)
How could you order an unlock code when you don't yet have the phone? Don't you need the IMEI number in order to get an unlock code?
thanks for he heads up @Matt-C
Correct link to back order amazon.co.uk/gp/…OLE
Put in your preferred sim, boot up the phone. It will ask you to enter sim unlock code, and it will sit there with an code entry box with flasing cursor.
Tap in this box with your finger and it will bring up the on screen keypad
Mine was received on 20th November
There seems to be a new form of torture - Enter the Vodafone Customer Services Network and travel around in circles for hours without speaking to anyone who can help in the tiniest way
Roll on the BT/O2 or EE merger. That'll shake them up!
yes it will work with 3 network
kakinyemi thanks for the tip
lets hope the orders go through

Buy this phone and get an LED torch from eBay to illuminate your subject
for 1 GB RAM, >4.3 inch + Flash, lowest price I can find are Huawei Y550 (CPW £50), Smart 4 Turbo (around £65), ZTE Blade L2 (Virgin £60).
