Also, according to their website, after 12 February 2023 they don't require a proof of vaccination anymore.

'Hang out by the pool'. In March, in the North Sea . Err no thanks. Hang out by a radiator maybe. (edited)

    A little knowledge is dangerous

    Now you know

Indoor tropical pool and bar, swimming pool outside kept at 20 degrees, I was in it. It has a sliding roof to open in summer months.

FREE Wifi in Hamburg! If you don't have roaming you can get FREE wifi from the docks in Hamburg, you will need to go to the Starboard side of the ship, best place is the Upper or Lower level of the Tropical pool area by the huge windows, loads of seats there, log out of the MSC wifi if you are on it and look for 'MobyKlick' it's a FREE wifi service and pretty good, may help someone on a budget.

17th March departure - 2 ADULTS + 2 KIDS with Premium drinks package for adults and Minor drinks package for kids now £1044 ALL IN, this is for an interior cabin selected by MSC known as Interior IB (Bella)

CRAZY THING IS 2 ADULTS = 1 CHILD is £1077 as no IB cabins left, only IR which are cabins YOU select, so maybe worth finding a spare kids if 3 of you and that one goes free and drinks free! (edited)

In case anyone didn't know and would like to try it there is a GLASS lift that goes up and down each side of the ship, there is an entrance on the pool deck at the aft end by the doors into the Marketplace buffet, the entrance is in a glass enclosure that looks like a pay point for a car park, see pic below its the vertical black stripe on each side of the ship, you get fantastic ocean views while using it!

But if I add 2 child and I go with only one is a problem?
    Rmcstar's avatar

It's the same price by adding 2 Adults + 1 Child

Wow it has dipped under £300pp(2pax) I think for the first time on these 7n northern trips.
(5% voyager gets a bit more off).

it should also come with the valentines promo
    daemon1275's avatar
will you get the 5% voyager discount even if booked via a broker like this?

    NOTE TO ALL MSC CRUISERS:

Good luck IF you book an MSC cruise and then after pressing 'book now' button and then go to add on extras your drinks package will have increased to £392 per person, IF you then wait further until you are ON the ship then prepare to bend over and be spanked by MSC as the ball is TOTALLY in their court with drinks package well over £400, take your credit card you will need it AND live to regret it!

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, no coming back crying and slagging off MSC as they rely on daft people to make their profit and trust me there are thousands of them, you hear the arguments at the reception on the ship until they realise they have no other option, they are captured and roll over and surrender before handing over their credit cards.

If you DO NOT select a drinks package best to get the best cabin you can as that is where you will spend your time as you won't be able to get the same value from the drinks whether it be Teas, coffee, hot chocolate, fruit smoothies, beers, wines, spirits or champagne ALL will be chargeable to your account, it works out after around 4 drinks throughout the day you break even on the premium drinks package, that's one very 4hrs.

One exception is you get free tea, coffee, fruit juices and water with meals but don't try and fill containers or flasks they are on you like a rash, I saw loads of people getting captured and rightly so. (edited)

Fantastic weather today bright an sunny.

Best day in the last 2 weeks.

Rotterdam center is an easy walk from the ship well worth a walk around some very interesting restoration on old boats people no live in or use as hotels

  17. costel.olaru's avatar
After booking I can added the all inclusive package?
    daemon1275's avatar
Pay the extra at the time of booking - its much cheaper than adding it later. There will be an option on the seascanner website when you start to go through the booking process.

And it's gone. Got 2 rooms, 3rd credit card blocked payment and its gone up 😫
    AzNDeals's avatar
Had a blocked payment from seascanner before, you should still have it 'booked' and awaiting payment if you remembered to note down/screenshot the payment (rejection) screen. You just need the seascanner booking reference, can't remember if they email you it first though (edited)

Those of us on the last cruise know what's going to happen on the 17th March cruise because we had Psychic Tracey on board from the forum what lovely person she is too instagram.com/psy…=en

    psychictracey.com

The problem is that there is a blank in her mind about what went while on our cruise and she can't remember anything (edited)

i'm on this one but sounds like delay chaos may push bar carnage back by a few hours ...
    Gadgetdeals's avatar
IS someone arranging a meet on your boat? I must say it is nice to meet fellow HUKD members and have a friendly face to see on the boat and some great laughs, people just do their own thing and maybe have a drink or 20 with any they pass during the trip, it can end in utter carnage though
  26. getmore4less's avatar
I don't have the full schedule, the best guess is they may start embarkation around 1pm
    The ETA is now11:45

Anyone in Southampton should be able to see the ship as it passes QE2 berth.

What a nightmare, I guess those with parking at the Ibis will have to get the extended time sorted out as you have to give a departure time when booking or get fined, the check in must be busy as I guess quite a few didn't know the times had changed, anyone there can let us know what it's like.

I have booked on her again for the 27th April the week after I get back from Bali, I guess these changes in timings are rare but I think I will put my car the the West Quay car park as you just pay a daily rate there.
    getmore4less's avatar
They are not fines, private parking companies cannot issue fines.

In many cases you can get any penalties PPC try to apply cancelled with help from MSE.

You can just add another booking a few extra hours or another day if they have space.
or try to modify existing booking.
As long as you have covered your time you should be fine.

We nearly always overnight so have an afternoon time this cruise was 2pm plenty of time.

Another alternative (west quay is also private parking) Is the council multi story
