About this deal

Frist off if you want a handheld PC look at a ROG Ally (£599 Extreme 512GB), Legion GO (£649.99) or Steam Deck (£479.99 512GB) before this.

However if you don't like them or just hate AMD for some reason we have the MSI Claw.

Key Points:
Windows Based
Intel CPU
Intel ARC GPU (which either work fine, work badly or not at all) with potential for improvement?
No Carry Case
Bigger than average Charger
Same Screen as Ally?

Cheaper than the lower spec Claw Ulta 5 512GB (£649.00)

Misses the mark for me, I would go Ally even with the SD problem but someone may be interested in this

Needs to knock at least another £100 off for me, or a massive bios/firewire/driver update that improves performance and battery life.

Product Information

Product code: 741670

The MSI Claw will rip AAA titles to shreds, right in the palm of your hand. The Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 Processor inside is packed with 16 cores and AI accelerations – the perfect combo of power and efficiency. And thanks to Intel® Arc™ Graphics, it can pump out plenty of FPS. The 7" Full HD touchscreen will make sure the games are full of detail and colour. And action scenes will be gloriously smooth thanks to the 120 Hz refresh rate. It's kitted out with hall effect joysticks and triggers that are more responsive and durable than typical analogue controls. That means you can target your enemies with terrifying precision. And thanks to the ergonomic design, your hands won't get tired as you claw your way to victory.

Even at this price it seems to be a clear no. Gamer Nexus review -

Did this even retail at £800? I feel like the price just discounted as soon as it released from bad reviews lol. I wouldn’t go anywhere near this though. Considering the legion go and rog ally are better alternatives in every way and have also been out for months now.

Will be £300-400 on clearance within the next month.

    Either wait or avoid. (edited)

    Could
This potentially be a decent desktop

You'd be much better off buying a NUC-style device with an AMD APU if you want a small, low power desktop replacement. You could get a Minisforum UM780 XTX for this sort of money, which runs rings around this thing. (edited)

Decent price! But not considering U can get the Rog ally Z1 extreme for £360ish

    The extreme for £360 new?

Question is, why would they even make this device, what purpose does it serve, because gaming is certainly not it.
