DISKLOK Steering Lock (Silver) SmallThe award winning Disklok Steering Lock Small helps to prevent your vehicle from being stolen as its exceptionally hard to remove without the key. Its made from reinforced steel, covers the complete steering wheel and has high visibility, making the steering lock a superb deterrent. The unique advantage it has is its ability to spin on the wheel when attacked, preventing steering and damage to the vehicles own steering wheel lock.

This Disklok is small and therefore suitable for steering wheels 35-38.9cm (this covers most modern car steering wheels). To ensure that this will fit your vehicle, please measure your steering wheels diameter, measuring from the outside edge to the outside edge across the centre line of your steering wheel.

  • Front loading CD Spins
  • on attack preventing steering the vehicle and stops the vehicles own steering lock from being broken
  • Covers the entire wheel preventing cutting the wheel
  • Prevents airbag theft
  • A mechanical devise which deters keyless entry thefts
  • Anti-drill and anti-pick locking barrel
  • Thatcham approved, category 3
  • Simple design allowing fitting and removal in a few seconds
  • Is ultra-visible, increasing the deterrent factor
  • Recognised by vehicle insurers with possible discount on premiums with certain brokers

Try more like 10 minutes with a hell of a lot of noise.

Lol do people still use these?

They are back in fashion since keyless ignition thefts came about.

Amazing price for this! The medium and large are out of stock.

Ghost alarm has excellent reviews and is one of the best security systems out there.

I have been tempted but based on the number of very violent car jackings taking place lately, I would rather the thieves just take the car without breaking into the house to find keys / hurting us.

If someone has the intention to nick something, they’ll go to all lengths to get it!

I just have a hidden GPS tracker fitted to assist locating the car, but thieves are more than welcome to take it - it’s insured anyway!

If the law went heavy on car criminals, we wouldn’t need such devices. Slap on the wrist usually from magistrates.

I bought a small for my Focus RS but as far as I'm aware VW is Medium size. Small fitted on the 435d so BMW must also be small.

Also if you have a car you're actually wanting to protect get yourself a Ghost alarm fitted

Exactly what I was thinking. Bit old school

Ghost was a must for my RS, then got one fitted to the 435d. I'm looking at Rs3's now so that'll be treat to a Ghost as well lol

Oh Jesus lol. I know there was a chop shop down there got busted about 2 years ago, there was loads of mk2 RS's found in it. Horrible how you have to keep things you've earned safe

Great product and thatcham approved too. I bought one with a discount for about £90 so this is a HOT price. Of course people can eventually get past any device but a deterrent is exactly that so it should hopefully push the thieves on, but out of all of the steering lock deterrents on the market, this is the best by far. As for size small, it seems to fit both my 2008 BMW E93 330d and also my 1985 BMW M535i (which is a much larger steering wheel).
One of the best steering wheel locks and recommended by the police as a good deterrent.

My grandma will be all over this.
Better off getting a card board lookalike and put that on your car - at least then they wont even go near your car seeing it from a distance. If they are not deterred then at least they wont wreck your car and wreck the steering lock getting it off.

just looked at promo video. right, to cut this off all you do is with your battery angle grinder cut off the bottom hinge whilst your college holds the cover still with the handy long lock bar on top. It will then just unhinge and open up, no need to try and cut the top lock off. Waste of money.

Far cheaper and easier just to take a wheel off your car when out and about.
Nice find op, hope it fits nicely on my R34

Small fits VW......most of not all. Fits golf, Passat, tiguian, karoq etc.

As for the waste of money comment. Utter rubbish. Plenty of CCTV vids on YouTube of thieves seeing a lock and walking away. Same with a ring doorbell or anti snap door locks on your house. One look and let it.

Thieves were about to steal my mates BMW at 2am one night until they saw the ring doorbell. One chap points at it and they all leg it.
Its all about the deterrent.

Heat for the price. This isn't far off cost for ecp as I bought one recently and Mrs works at head office

Thus making lots of noise so job done.
Can probably fry an egg if you leave it on during a hot sunny day
WOW, these have shot up in price. I bought mine about 8 years ago and it cost me £44.
I have a Disklok and a Ghost 2 fitted to my Hyundai i30n, but my friend has got a Pandora alarm, immobiliser and tracker fitted to his Golf R which is an amazing piece of kit from what I've seen of it.

All newer models small fits. Mk7 onwards. Have an R and it fits.

Its not a waste of money because hundreds of keyless cars are being stolen every day, it takes 30 seconds, as soon as a thief see's this lock they will walk away, you really think they will take the risk of angle grinding for a few minutes making lots of noise and the risk of you hitting them over the head from behind when theres 5 more fords on every road to take with no steering locks ? Money well spent

They must have shrunk down the wheel size since the mk5, it's them old chunky ones with a slight flat bottom.
Hope you've got a Ghost fitted to the R
Anyone remember the Krooklok

German hot hatches are incredibly easy targets, I avoided an RS3/M140i/A45 for that reason...

They were the shoddy old ones where the lock was a separate unit to the actual disclock. This is all integrated and revised design, more effective too.
I was quite looking forward to a variety jacking or home invasion to steal my car... avoid the hassle of advertising it on autotrader. No luck unfortunately. Probably due to the constant surveillance on my family & I by the security services.
would this fit a 3 series bmw? thanks

If there's a car with a steering wheel lock and a car without parked next to eachother, the thief is going to take the easiest option. Same applies to home security. You're only trying to deter them...

No. Don't see the need. It's in a locked garage (anti lever electric roller) with a keyed ignition. Have a ring doorbell, anti snap locks, cctc and both neighbours either side of me have RS6s with no cctv, parked on drive and a wooden front door with a Yale lock. I know which house I would target!

Weird, as it's quite loose on newer vws.

The 1st time I went to Birmingham my rs6 was stolen from a hotel car park.
Was this posted by ECP themselves? Amount of vehicles stolen on a daily basis?? Lol is that the best marketing they have? Look at a graph of car thefts per year over the last 30 years and you'll see they have fallen dramatically. If u have a classic car from the 80's/90's you can paint it yellow or red to complete that classic period look. With a modern car you'll just look like a plonker.
