This works out at 31p even at the cheapest price. The £9.50 for 32 rolls at home bargains works out at 29p per roll. Soooo, very little difference but it adds up.

There was a 10% off voucher for me which made it 27p per roll so you are wrong

Just looked on Aldi website. 24 rolls are £6.99. 3 ply too. Not sure if this is much of a deal. (edited)

FYI (and everyone else), I listed some Aldi loo rolls (on the Toilet Paper Discussion Thread / Spreadsheet) on 12th March (Fort William):

    Fabulosa Super Roll 3-ply, Cotton Fresh x 12 - £9.29
    ("equivalent to 24 rolls")
    i.imgur.com/j8M…jpg

Saxon Softest Toilet Tissue 3-ply Fresh Apple Fragranced Core x 9 - £3.49
    i.imgur.com/AMm…jpg

    Saxon Softest Premium Toilet Tissue 3-ply x 24 - £6.99
    i.imgur.com/giG…peg

    Saxon Softer Luxury 2-ply x 9 - £3.29
(2-ply isn't luxury, to me, but, hey ho)
    i.imgur.com/xD4…jpg

Saxon Softest Quilted x 9 (think this is 3-ply, can't see it mentioned on the packs or website, other variants of the Softest suggest so) - £3.39
    i.imgur.com/3Xl…jpg

    Saxon Soft White 2-ply x 9 - £2.25
("Same Number Of Sheets, Smaller Tube")
    i.imgur.com/cyB…jpg

    Saxon Softest Aloe Vera 3-ply x 4 - £1.79
(Note: some packs of these say the number of ply on the pack, others don't - maybe newer ones?)

    S&S expired with a 2 month wait.

Same value, 9 rolls for £3.29 at Asda & Home bargains if anyone can't hold that long.

Medically, it's not recommended to "hold" that long.

How else are the globalists going to be able to 'build back better.' You need to break the old way of doing things before you can usher in your great new dawn of 'owning nothing but being happy.' You have had Aussie politicians during Covid openly refer to a new world order. The WEF have said it only months ago. China said it weeks ago.

this was the stuff on tin foil hat wearers on conspiracy forums.

This assault on the cost of living is deliberate & intended. However bad you think it is now, it's only going to get worse.

When I was in Home Bargains on 12th March (Fort William) I managed to take a note of a few Nicky Loo Roll pack sizes - biggest pack Nicky Elite size available then was the 18 pack:

    Nicky Elite 3-ply x 18 - £5.49
    Original Comfy Soft 2-ply x 24 - £5.99
    i.imgur.com/Kgv…jpg

    Nicky Elite 3-ply x 4 - £1.65
    Nicky Supreme 3-ply x 12 £4.49
(not sure which Nicky Supreme size the £4.99 shelf label refers to, can't zoom in on it properly)

Scented toilet roll is a bad idea, shouldn't be rubbing chemicals in such a sensitive area.

I think the "talc" scent is very subtle, I can hardly discern anything (and this is speaking as a perfume lover). No problems with allergies from anyone I know who buys this. (edited)

If you're able to walk to the shops and bring it home yourself (I usually buy it from Savers when in Glasgow), maybe this isn't a Deal - but Nicky Elite is still the best loo roll, for me, anyway. Saves us having to travel an hour to get it where I am!

Prices have went crazy recently though. Think I first heard of this loo roll when I posted more regularly on MSE years and years ago! (I was on MSE long before HUKD). (edited)

My Mum bought Izal medicated loo paper as a punishment, because she said we were getting through too much Andex. It must have worked because we had it for several years.

Tempting offer. I buy this toilet paper at home bargains in a 32 pack when my daughter and I have a 'day out'. If nothing else, I will vouch for it being a nice tissue. When Iceland ramped up the price of their very similar 3-ply, which I'd exclusively bought for years, I boycotted it.
