There is a similar SE version boot out there, and they provide this info' about the material and it's water resistance.
"The Manoa Leather SE's upper is made of highly durable synthetic leather.....A waterproof finish reduces any chance of moisture or rain ruining your day...."
So basically it reduces the chance of moisture/rain entering the shoe, but ultimately won't stop it entirely. (edited)
Click and collect assumes my M25 post code is in London whereas I'm in Manchester. When I amend it, I encounter a technical issue. Annoying!
However, for anyone who is considering buying them, they are very comfortable and feel very light. Done a lot of walking in them, and they have kept the water out every time.
If they are £40 they are an ok price.
