About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
- TENT & GEAR SOLARWASH 500ml: Cleans effectively, increases fabric
strength, and protects against UV damage, making your gear last longer
and perform better. Reproofing spray that revives the performance of
your tent and gear, extending their active life. Lifts out dirt that can
attract water and mask water repellent finishes. - TENT & GEAR SOLARPROOF 500ml: Adds water repellency, increases
fabric strength, and protects against UV damage, making your gear last
longer and perform better. To most effectively benefit from the
ultraviolet (UV) and Durable Water Repellent protection of our
SolarProof it's best applied to equipment from new. During use the
fabric will pick up dirt and other contaminants which stop water from
beading on the fabric surface. When this occurs the DWR can be
revitalised by cleaning with SolarWash. - USE ON TENT: Apply TENT & GEAR SOLARWASH by hand: 1. Erect tent. 2.
Spray evenly on the outside of the fabric. For large items apply in sections.
3. Rub in well with a damp cloth/sponge, paying attention to
particularly dirty areas. Use a soft nylon brush if necessary to remove
stubborn stains. 4. Rinse with clean water using a cloth or sponge.
Item(s) should be air dried. - USE TENT & GEAR SOLARPROOF: No need to dry item(s) before
waterproofing. 1. Spray evenly to the outside of the fabric (e.g. erected tent)
2. Wait for 2 minutes. Remove any surplus product with a damp cloth. 3.
Check carefully to ensure no areas have been missed. 4. DWR & UV
protection will develop once the fabric is dry. Allow items to dry fully
before packing away. - RECOMMENDED FOR: all Synthetic Tents, Gear, Rucksacks, Bags and
Panniers. If your equipment is made of Cotton, Polycotton or Canvas,
make sure you use NIKWAX COTTON PROOF for best results.
