    Good price!

Having attempted to buy second hand (and therefore seeing what ends them) my advice is don’t drive it through anything wet (the battery compartment isn’t very water proof) and take the batteries out between use

The crappy included ni-cd batteries had leaked in mine. Probably been in storage for yonks. Cleaned it up and popped eneloops in, one of which got stuck and I had to finangle it out, you can reach the bottom of a stuck battery through the adjacent battery slots.

Spent a few minutes sanding down the battery slots with an emery board and the eneloops fit fine now.

The kart is pretty fun and nippy! Seems fairly durable too. Kids'll love it.

And you will want to use rechargable batteries with these, since they will chew through alkalines very quickly. Eneloop pros or other rewrapped japan made rechargeable are ideal, but even something like amazon basics rechargeable will be fine. I suggest 8 low self discharge ni-mh of at least 2400mah (like amazon basics/eneloop pros) and ofcourse a charger. (edited)

Really good quality for the price especially considering the branding. Its nice and nippy too with large wheels to operate on more challenging surfaces. Its still better on a hard floor because you can rotate the wheels for 'hover' mode like in Mario Kart 8.

It takes 8 x AA batteries however (6x for the car and 2x for the remote). A word of advice is not to buy rechargeable batteries especially for this! I had an issue with them fitting correctly. I learnt the hard way that they seem to be marginally wider than standard batteries. You may not have the same experience but thought its worth a mention.

Anyway heat for the deal (edited)

Received mine today. Box says AA batteries. And it is fairly bigger than regular RC cars.
