  • Superior category olive oil obtained directly from olives and solely by mechanical means. Produced with polyphenol-rich Koroneiki olives. High in Monounsaturated fats
  • The oil is extracted without heat or chemicals which ensures the flavour and health benefits remain.
  • A full-bodied herbaceous flavour slowly builds in the mouth to leave a pleasant peppery aftertaste. Aromas reminiscent of citrus, fresh cut grass and tomatoes on the vine
  • Olives are harvested with care by hand according to traditional methods and pressed within hours of being picked
  • Kalamata refers to the area where the olives are grown, not the olive variety, which is a common misconception. Located in Peleponese, it provides an ideal micro-climate for the cultivation of olives

Darn... Ops price was great but sadly gone at that price. Used to buy this only a few years back when it was circa £8/L.

You can still buy 4 of these on max s&s savings for 48.48 (4l) so still a decent deal considering the price of decent OO atm.

Check the expiry date on these, I bought some from Amazon before and it was short-dated, I think that's why they get these products and sell them cheap.

As long as it's not oxidised it should be fine. My missus basically drnks this stuff so shouldn't be a poblem lol.

Will concur, £6 per 0.5 litres is a respectable price for premium olive oil. Lidl sells its Cretan olive oil at £6.50 a half litre as far as I can remember

Surprising price... 'Filippo Berio Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil' is around the same price in Costco but it is a blend of different olives from different countries.
