Hi mate, I have tried many single origin EVOO from different countries..... really rate the Critida oil (pictured) as well as oils from Portuguese olives, and Spanish ..... they do all taste different and I remember reading an article where a nutritionist said the more “peppery” the flavour, the better it’s antioxidant profile..... ps - EVOO should be in a dark bottle and stored away from light / high temps (so back of my cupboard in kitchen is fine!) ... and don’t leave the lid off for longer than necessary as the oil oxidises / can harm flavour of the oil over time. You really want to consume a bottle within a few months of opening to get it at its best :)
Not read this, but anyway, not the tiny amount used in a stir fry mate! :)

They've been selling them off at Asda Boldon too. I bought 4 500ml and 2 750 ml bottles but beware there were others with different packaging and they were priced at £5 plus. For those who shop at Boldon they are in the whoops end aisle by the cat food!!!
Or from Govan to Birmingham XD
Anyone passing from Govan to London? 😁
good find, but none in Bridgend :(

1.5 Litre Filippo Berio Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil reduced to £1.20 at Asda Govan
Hey guys. I just wanted to point out that this particular EVO has an excellent feature that most don't - a really good drizzle nozzle. It means you can actually get a very good, neat and tidy drizzle putting on salads or just carefully measuring into a spoon. The nozzle just pops in and out as you remove/replace the cap. Its a good EVO but i've kept buying it because of this great feature. The manufacturer knows its a good USP too because they advertise it on the front of the bottle.
Thanks mate. (y)
Whats bb date please? Thanks

In my car better oil flows within the engine. Filippo Berio is one of the Dutch owned mass producing oil brands using Italian names to give an impression of taste and quality. Even the Extra Virgin Olive oil EVO is rubbish, they use imported not edible oil as base and chemical treatment to give the final taste, they of course add the minimum percent of Evo needed to meet regulations. Don't buy this, not even to fry
I use aldi
H, is that you?
Is it better than Aldi own brand?
In my experience, when you ask this, you will be linked to small bottles of olive oil that cost £50 each! (hyperbole alert I know!) Like coffee and most cooking things, there's definately much better quality but you get what you pay for at the end of the day.
my friend once gave me olive oil he brought back from greece his dad was an olive farmer he insisted i taste it - so i did it almost burned my throat like it had some chilli in it he told me this is what fresh olive oil tastes like but after a while the chilli afterburn diminishes
You do realise nobody has a clue what you were on about? Trolling I suppose.. weird
Thanks for posting. Your thread was selected for our Highlights section (highfive)
Heres your link, knock yourself out :D https://www.google.com

Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Olive Oil Special Selection 750Ml £3.50 at Tesco£3.50Tesco Deals
One of the best deals I’ve seen with club card, big saving, and useful product.
Because it says it is. Product DescriptionExtra Virgin Olive Oil This fine Extra Virgin Olive Oil has been specially blended to create the smoothest of flavours with a fruity ripe olive note. Making it perfect for drizzling, sauces, marinades and dipping.
Hi, just wondering, how do you know it's blended?
Asda have the 1litre for £4.50 also if that’s handier for people, but not quite as good a price
Still quite expensive for a blended olive oil if you don't mind buying bulk. Happy belly 4ltr £11.31 here if you have amazon.
