I don't have oppo but by reading the reviews I'd say Xiaomi band 6 better. My daughter has it and the battery lasts her almost 2 weeks (Oppo customer says battery lasts 5 days), all working great.

I need a cheap watch that does offline Spotify and tracks my runs. Think I need to spend a bit more than this

This is still on offer but in orange only at the moment.

Got my black one a week ago and very impressed with it. I had a galaxy watch 4 which costed 7 times the price of the oppo and it was very unreliable. I might have been unlucky with it but the dial stopped working after 3 weeks and shortly afterwards so did the sensors. Sent to Samsung twice for repairs then they gave a full refund as they couldn't fix it. The oppo is more basic but it works. A big bonus is the battery life. I have it set to check my heart rate every 6 mins and the battery lasted 5 days (only took it off for a shower so was in use at least 23 hours a day). Heart rate follows the pattern of what I'm doing and the base reading is the same I get when at the doctors so seems accurate.

Bought, when they were still available as new. It said there were only 6 left at the time. Thanks OP.

PS The app looks well behaved. I read through the terms and conditions. It doesn't look like the app sends much in the way of data back to the companies, pretty much everything is just held locally on the phone. The app can connect with Google Fit too. (edited)

I’ve read that the heart rate stuff in these cheap watches isn’t accurate.

    Is that still the case?

I'll certainly be checking mine when I get it. Heart rate should be able to be reliable.

How come with older smart bands you could use them to pay in a shop contactlessly using NFC , but with these newer ones you can't?
