I bought a Weber coal in the summer, only got coal because of peer pressure! I wanted gas for convenience! The result, coal is a pain in the arse and I’ve hardly used it so now I’m looking for a small handy gas!! This might just be it!

Does anyone know if this is the same spec as the Excel Onyx apart from the colour?

Had this for over 5 years and still going strong. (edited)

Have one for about 8 months now, can't fault it. Hasn't got any of that non-stick, can't brillo nonsense.
Didn't think I'd use the side ring much but its used a lot. (edited)

Bought one today. I thought it was the last display model and cheekily asked if they would lower it to £50 because there was a knob missing. The nice lady explained that a customer had bought it back yesterday because they couldn't get it working and swapped it for the display model. I had a quick look underneath and saw that the gas pipes from the 2 control knobs was pointing completely the wrong way. We settled on £60, I will have a look tomorrow and will get it working.

This or the 310 which is £115? Will be a secondary BBQ to a charcoal Weber. Be nice to have this for the occasional quickness!

Super basic but it'll probably do the job just fine. Probably won't last 20 years but under a cover should do fine for 5 or more. Priced just right imho
