Highlights
LARGE STORAGE SPACE: Garden tool shed has plenty of open storage room for equipment and tools - think lawnmower, grasscutter, chipper etc.
COLOUR STEEL: Finished with a top coat for weather protection, our large shed is strong and durable for long-lasting use in your garden.
SLOPED ROOF: Allows water to roll down to the ground, preventing build up, stagnation and rust damage. DOUBLE DOOR SHED: Allows easy access metal garden shed with base inside and keeps everything out of site from neighbours etc.
VENTILATION SLOTS: Two on the front and two on the back, allows air to sufficiently circulate around inside this galvanised shed, preventing any moisture and mildew build up. Your bike can be stored without rusting.
ASSEMBLY REQUIRED: All pre-cut and pre-drilled parts included. Floor foundation also included. RECOMMEND 2-3 PEOPLE TO INSTALL IT TOGETHER. WEARING GLOVES WHEN INSTALLING IS ADVISED

Will the vents prevent everything rusting?

It will help but at this price I'd imagine it will try rusting sooner rather than later.
I've bought it anyway as its the biggest and cheapest I've seen in a few months of waiting.
Nothing to stop you from giving it a galvanised coat of paint now and then

Ive installed all three types over the years - metal, wood & plastic

metal is the only one I definately wouldnt try again - mainly due to the condensation & rust issues - the build time is also longer due to all the screws but I can live with that personally as its a one off thing

with metal sheds these issues are mostly related to the metal roof (its the roof that rusts & causes the dripping condensation inside) so if I HAD to have a metal shed I would immediately replace the roof with something like a corregated plastic or wooden roof (edited)

Warning for someone with trees close by. The protective strip along the bottom edge of the roof (to prevent you injuring yourself) collects leaves etc. This keeps moisture against the roof and it rusts like crazy.

    I am thinking this.
I would insulate internally and fit a humidistat bathroom type fan. You would want electrics any way.
20mm insulation worked be enough, I might consider to line with 9mm ply.

These things don't last. They start to rust after a few years. A few after that its toast

I wouldn't put anything of value in a metal shed, these chinese ones are slightly thicker than a kitkat wrapper.

Ages back we had a shed where ironically the only decent things were the doors. Had some really dim thieves ram the doors with a car, not realising they could have just gone round the side and pulled the wall down.

Tl;Dr don't leave anything valuable in a shed unless it's brick and the doors have bars across them.

Does make you wonder, find a plot of land.

The problem with these metal ones as opposed to wood is they are a nightmare to put up. This could take 3 days to put up and you'd need someone helping to hold why you screw for some sections. They also don't have a floor (that sits on your base).

A wooden one this size is ~30% more expensive but you can put it up in a day and it will have a floor, so is properly sealed. But the labour cost saving is £160-200 (2 days). Unless of course you're retired and have time to kill. (edited)

Problem with wood is maintenance. Neighbour's shonky built wood garage just took £30 of preserver to do 1 coat 1/2 a wall above our fence. Can't get to lower half, stupid location. Job done properly 2 coats preserver + 1 proofing whole thing £360 + labour each year. Can't help think long run anything but up-front spend on brick a mistake. Planning reg.s equally apply wood, metal, brick etc.. I'm not a brickie & I do have time to kill!

Why does the photo make it look like it's a warehouse

I was thinking the same thing. Stitch two together and stick some windows and insulation in, Bobs your uncle, the possibilities are endless .
Joking obviously, but one can dream of having their own front door for a couple 1000's (edited)

I suppose this would be a good option for motorbike storage and some extra space?
    ColossalBiff's avatar
Absolutely not, the motorcycle will end up constantly wet and damp and will become corroded in no time.

The 3d model preview for the sheds on the website is like running prime95.
