    Waste of garlic, and a pain to wash. Just use a knife.

    You just bend it the other way and press with the red dimples clearing it out. I don't know what you're on about in terms of cleaning. But yes, wastes garlic which you will need to run through again. Basically put all the skins back in together and squeeze them out.

    Solid garlic press. You're left with a bit more garlic in the press than I would like but it's still good.

    I just keep running it through.Basically put all the skins back in together and squeeze the left over garlic attached to them out. (edited)

    They say dishwasher safe but mine filled up with water in the dishwasher....

    I eventually split the metal around the hinge killing it, appeared to be some sort of zinc alloy.
