It's well linked to "Autism Speaks" who treat autism as a disease and want to wipe us all out with Eugenics.
It also make us out to be infantile.
We are just born different, we are not a disease to be cured or something that should be trained out of us, we are simply born different and wired differently.
America-centric, as with most Kindle books, but worth a delve into.
