I recently bought the viper steel version of this - the memory modules are lower quality Samsung b-die.

I sadly had to send them back as they weren’t playing nice with my higher quality Hynix CJR 😔

With timing like those these are almost certainly not B die. Never a good idea to mix RAM types. (edited)

Waiting for some RGB 2 x 16gb 3200 to pop up

Have installed these exact DIMM's in a couple of machines, no issues at all.
    Great for the price.

Looks pretty decent other than the angry design aesthetics. Mind you, I'm fairly clueless. But 3600MHz in DDR4 seems fairly standard with the advertised timings.
Think I'll get that for my budge build. Tempted to buy four sticks as it works out cheaper than getting a 2x16GB pair.

    32GB 3600 (2 x 16) at £54.99 still available

Had these for a few years. Zero issues with them and well recommended at that price.

Got a pair of these and both sticks throwing up ram errors on my new build. Thought it was the motherboard as unusual to have 2 bad sticks of ram. Got the Kingston fury and Corsair vengeance pairs instead and no issues. So bad first experience from me regarding these
    The.Fat.Cat's avatar
While unusual and pretty rare, there's always the odd chance a motherboard will not not like certain RAM.
More than likely they'd work perfectly fine in another mobo but that doesn't help you much.

As mentioned above, I've installed these Patriot sticks before and they were fine, but Corsair are my usual 'go to' brand, have never had any issues with any mobo with them. (edited)
