Probably one of my all time favourite games.

A good spiritual successor is Parkitect.

Do you think I would be able to play this offline on the Deck?

Turns out to already have RT2, is that the best one?

    Argh the memories!

Can you still ride your own rides like before?

I think that was RCT 3, as it went 3D.

Bought this on the day it was released in 1999 & been playing it at least once a year ever since.
RCT2 was arguably an improvement but I actually prefer the scenarios of the original.
RCT3 was pretty good but isn't made by Chris Sawyer so isn't a true sequel.

For modern features & wide-screen you can use openrct2 but you need roller coaster tycoon 2 to play roller coaster tycoon 1 as you just bring in the level data.

Steam also has roller coaster tycoon classic as well which is kinda an amalgamation that was designed for touch screens (edit: apparently this is actually the one Chris Sawyer still gets money from). (edited)

Get rct2 and download openrct2. It's an open source remaster. (edited)
