I post this every time a TA post comes up. Trying to keep the game alive. The player base is growing again!

Well I never thought I'd see TA on here. I've played online since 2001 and still play it now. The best RTS of all time. It is still played online daily. There's also a balance mod made by the best players to improve all the useless units and fix bugs, called ProTA. It runs perfectly on Win10/11 now due to new patches. There's also a ladder and tournaments for cash every few months. Get involved!

TA is outstanding, but it just lasts too long. I start to struggle after 3hours of SC:FA or SC2, but TA could theoretically last days or longer.
I wish so much there was a way to save multiplayer TA games then continue the same
Battle with friends later + AI, we could get some massive games going over multiple LAN party sessions or online if that were possible.

Can still play it online today. No better time to come and play with all the new stuff being developed for it.

The music was fantastic for this game, even as a teenager playing in the late 90s, I appreciated the awesome talents of Jeremy Soule (even if I was mostly listening to house and trance music at the time!). The game is timeless. Really was a cut above Command & Conquer, with much better AI than C&C, better and more diverse units, true line of sight for projectile weapons, etc.
