Bought this the other day. Very light and platicy vs my 5000 series trimmer. Yet to use it.

Edit. Used it yesterday and it didn't disappoint so a thumbs up

And it's charges way slower and uses a different charger. Chargergate.

    0.5W vs 5W. (edited)

    Which is the 5000 please?

Had this for a few years, it's good, no real complaints, it's fine on the face just don't use it downstairs as it seems to rip your balls up for some reason. (edited)

Had this one for a few years and it's been great. Way better than the way more expensive babyliss (I think) one I had. Charges quickly and holds charge for quite a while. Might order this as a spare or just to have a new one

45 minutes of cordless shaving after a 10 hour charge - 10 Hours?!?!?!

Series 5000, goes down to 0.4 which was a clincher for me.

This is a good trimmer. Been using it since 2021 no issues so far and holds charge quite well.

But have just seen this one for the same price.....

Cant really comment on it from experience, but I've heard these are good and seems to be good value with 40% off (£25 if you have the £5 off Amazon spend). Is that worth it?

Thanks! Marked it as live again. Hopefully others can now take advantage. Had chance to try mine now and for the money I think it’s great

Same price at Tesco with clubcard, although not sure if there are delivery fees there. I could use my £5 Amazon voucher to take this to £15 what does seem a steal but my current one is working fine although it's a few years old. It's too early in the day for me to be spending money on things I don't particularly need. I'll have probably bought a 55" TV within the next 5 minutes the hukd way

Just bought for £15. Yesterday's £5 voucher and the £10 off. Happy with that 😁

    What £5 voucher?

Annoying that these aren't just USB charging these days

I got one of these in 2018 and use to trim my beard (in the shower), still working fine.

Thinking about ordering this one as a spare.

This good for trimming around the Balls? Will purely be used for that!

I bought this a few years ago and is the best shaver I've had. Recommended.

I've had this and it's very good. Just keep on top of charging and you will be fine.

Does anyone know where can buy the clips? I have had a philips trimmer for years but lost a few of the clips
    captainbeaky's avatar
Do you mean the plastic combs/ guides. You can buy replacement parts direct from Phillips but the p&p charges are a bit high. Probably better to use the Phillips website to find the part number you need then look on eBay, Amazon etc.

Ive got the older version of this, although it is decent i wouldn't recommend it unless you like having a very very short beard / long stubble.

Anything over a number 5, which is probably equivalent to a 1.5 / number 2 guard on hair clippers and you end up going over the same area for ages for it to get all the hairs.

I started using wireless hair clippers and found them miles better. Cuts better and loads more guard options to make it easier to maintain a longer beard. (edited)

I purchased this one first and sent it back. It has 7 attachments because you have to change the guard every time you want to change the cutting length. The one on this deal is the higher model (should be £30) and has a scroll wheel built in to allow you to change the cutting length without switching heads
  32. Inferno_Rash's avatar
    it is £30 now.
  33. Faisal_Hamed's avatar
    Back at £30!

Thanks, ordered for £15 with extra £5 off code.
  35. Phr33ky's avatar
Dunno if I got a blunt blade in mine, but ordered on this offer, and it feels as if it literally pulls the hairs when on the lowest setting.

I’m not having the same issue, but I’d 100% be sending back for a refund. Amazon don’t care if it’s been used and send Royal Mail to collect 👌🏼
