Got one, its not very good and need to keep on topping up the water container, even when doing a single t-shirt. Took on holiday, ended up using hotel iron which was much easier and better. Also be mindful that limescale builds up very quickly after a couple of uses. (edited)

Only if you live somewhere with terrible hard water

Is this good for men's shirts or not comparable to an iron?

I have a different more bulky one than this one posted and have used on hubby's shirts in the past, not as good as an iron but did a half decent job! (edited)

I have this one from asda that is £20 quid. I think I paid 15 on sale. Does a decent job. direct.asda.com/geo…tml?cmpid=ppc-_-geor-_--_--_--_-dskwid-_dm&utm_campaign=pla:_Home_BAU_-_Performance_Max&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIv-X-79yvgAMVRcDtCh27Jwj_EAQYAyABEgIIuPD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

I have one of these, not sure why people would want to use it for shirts or t shirts etc, just use an iron, it will be far better.

However, the steamer is perfect for steaming suits and dresses etc. Takes 30 seconds to heat up, and the wrinkles drop out of a suit in seconds.

I found the asda one better than this. It’s butt ugly and doesn’t fold but when I used the asda one it got the creases out better (probably for that little extra steam output. Also the brush attachment is super handy as it also kinda creates a cup where the steam can be held rather then dispersing as soon as it exits the unit). I was super exited about the Phillips as I love the brand and the products but sent it back after 3 days use as it couldn’t quite live up to my expectations. (edited)

100ml... that's got to be a joke, right?

I have this exact steamer. I can easily do a whole suit before I need to spend 10 seconds refilling it.

What size do you need in a travel/compact steamer? (edited)

It definitely doesn’t replace an iron but it still works for on the go and travel situations. It’s great. For the tougher wrinkles, I would hang it up on the door and pull the garment so the creases are gone and then blast it with steam.

If you need an iron replacement, you’d probably need to buy the higher end steamers for around £100. (edited)
