The critically acclaimed (and simply stunning) follow-up to debut long-player "Stranger in the Alps" for the cheapest price I have seen (with or without delivery).
I first became aware of Bridgers from the equally superb "The Record" by side-project(?) Boygenius.
In all honesty, I was rarely one for female singer-songwriters (let alone 3 on one album) as they always tended to sound very samey / formulaic to my ears.
Phoebe and her pals (who also feature on some of this record) have turned that completely on its head.
On her own or with Boygenius, she is a phenomenal talent and, at this price, I couldn't resist.
Difficult second album? Don't make me laugh!!
